Technical purpose of product or process El cemento Tipo III/A 42,5R/SRC es un cemento de horno alto sulforresistente especialmente formulado para la fabricación de hormigones tanto en masa como armados, que deben soportar condiciones ambientales agresivas. Gracias a su alta resistencia a la compresión, de 42,5 MPa a los 28 días, este cemento ofrece una excelente durabilidad y capacidad estructural. Además, su formulación incluye una reducción significativa en la cantidad de clínker, lo que contribuye a disminuir las emisiones de CO₂ durante su producción, haciendo de este cemento una opción más sostenible sin comprometer su rendimiento. Su resistencia frente a sulfatos y al agua de mar lo convierte en la elección ideal para construcciones cercanas a costas o en suelos con alta presencia de sulfatos. Este cemento cumple estrictamente con la norma EN 197-1:2011, que regula los requisitos de los cementos comunes, y con la norma EN 80303-1:2017, que establece los requisitos específicos para cementos resistentes a sulfatos, asegurando que su composición y propiedades están perfectamente adaptadas para estas condiciones. Además, se ajusta a las directrices del RC-16, recogidas en el R.D. 256/2016 sobre la recepción de cementos, así como al Código Estructural aprobado en junio de 2021.
