Technical purpose
CEM III/B 42.5L/SR is a sulfate-resistant blast furnace cement, specially designed for the production of both mass and reinforced concretes that must withstand severe environmental conditions. With a compressive strength of 42.5 MPa at 28 days, it provides a solid and reliable basis for structures that require high durability and structural capacity, even in demanding environments. Its formulation incorporates a high content of ground granulated blast furnace slag, which allows for a significant reduction in clinker content and, consequently, a notable decrease in CO₂ emissions during production. This balance between technical performance and sustainability makes CEM III/B 42.5L/SR cement an ideal choice for projects seeking to combine strength, durability, and reduced environmental impact. This cement strictly complies with EN 197-1:2011, which regulates the requirements for common cements. In addition, it meets the specifications of RC-16, included in R.D. 256/2016 on cement reception, as well as the Structural Code approved on June 29, 2021. Altogether, this ensures a safe, efficient product of high quality standards, ideal for large-scale construction works.
